Carmel Glover lives in a small but charming Queenslander house in an inner city suburb in Brisbane, Australia. She has reached ‘elderwoman’ status but doesn’t really feel grown-up yet. She needs to live to a ripe old age to accomplish things she should have done much earlier in life. If she is successful, she’ll have quite a story to write.

Carmel has long been a keen photographer, and at one time intended to specialise in child photography, but that seems a lifetime ago now.
At present she is a graphic designer and book artist … when she’s not diverted by making jewellery, healing dolls, and planning to set up a creativity centre with a focus on art as a transformative and healing process.
She is also part of a small group of writers/artists called The CAN Company … but that’s a story for another time and place.
What a lovely idea and quest. I think stories about the girls would be so beautiful as they, in themselves almost tell a story.
Are these pictures able to be used in scrapbooking?
Hi Linda. Alas, the quest has gone on hold. Being an impatient sort of person, I was discouraged by the lack of response. I didn’t do very much to spread the word though, and I do intend to get back to it when I have a little more time. You can certainly use these pictures for scrapbooking.
Melisanda I remember when a school teacher I met go a collection of old photographs at a yard sale in the country, she got it for the albumn they were in and thought it was financially valuable. In researching we found out it was actually a portfolio of pictures of the artist so when they went door to door he could show the different ones he had taken and the families would make up their minds which ones they wanted. As I remember now, they were very old and they stood the test of time. She was going to remove the pictures and use if for a family albun. How I wish I were brave enough to of asked what she was doing with the pictures, but too late now.
